Befriend Caffeine

Okay, I know it’s 1 AM but my eyes are disobediently refused to be shut, whereas at 9 I have an important appointment. Dear me, I should never have switched my addiction to tea into coffee, and it’s getting serious bit by bit. When I say serious, it means that more blacker, thicker, and bitter it gets, the more I enjoy it. Soon I’ll be just like ‘amang-amang sopir’ who fancy Kopi Tubruk that much? Lol.

However, I am not goindexing to be too hard to myself. Coffee serves a lot of pluses for a man’s health too. If I am let to sum dozens of trustworthy scientific researches, coffee can make your life happier. Why? Because it acts as a mild anti depressant. People can lower their stress just by smelling the aroma; its antioxidant is just as good as one contains in fruits; skin cancer would also unlikely infecting the female coffee-drinkers. Moreover, it enables people to be a better athlete and totally works for sharpening your brain. Yes!

Truth is, I’ve been developing this habit since I began to work in Jakarta. Every Jakartan knows how bizarre the traffic congestion is and how people approximately spends 4 hours commuting. So my strategy in dealing with multiple responsibilities as a full time office worker, freelancer, and two courses’ studentĀ  is by sacrificing few hours of my bed time. Hence, no sleeping pills befriended, Caffeine it is!
